Shizuoka Hojicha

One whiff. It took just! one! whiff! of the tea leaves, among a humble selection at a little tea shop in Shizuoka, and we bought multiple bags for ourselves, then went back the very next day to ask if they’d supply Satcha Tea because gatekeeping this just felt wrong. 

It’s got this wonderfully nutty character that simultaneously contrasts yet complements its roasted depth. And depending on how you brew it, you get a different side of it: more toasty when hot, more nutty when cold-brewed.
