Where are your teas from, and how are they made?

We personally source our teas directly from small-time farmers around Asia – oolongs from Taiwan, senchas from Japan, black teas from Sri Lanka and India, to name a few – and work closely with teamakers to R&D our tea flavours.

How often do you launch new flavours?

We've got seasonal specials that rotate every 1-3 months, mainly depending on, well, what’s in season. Especially when it comes to fruity blends – fruit seasons are fleeting and guided by the rhythms of nature, and we simply follow.

So if the current seasonal special is calling out to you, get it while it’s here, because it might not stay on our menu for long, or make another appearance once it's gone!

What's the best way to brew the tea?

To brew your teas hot:

Each tea blend comes with recommended brewing notes, guided primarily by the nature of each different tea base - whether it’s oolong, green, black, etc.

To cold brew your teas:

In general, we recommend about 300ml of water per tea bag, refrigerated overnight.

But of course, we encourage you to try out different brewing temperatures or times to discover what you like best! We like to quote Greg, the first tea farmer who first got us hooked onto tea as a practice: It’s a tea party, not a tea ceremony - so don’t be afraid to play around!

Can I steep my tea bag multiple times?

Yes! In general, our teas are good for at least 2 or even 3 cups. The teas tend to pleasantly mellow out in the subsequent brews, and perhaps you’ll pick up different flavour profiles coming through – and you might be pleasantly surprised!

How should I store my tea?

We recommend that your teas are stored in a dark and dry place at room temperature, such as your kitchen cabinet. Use airtight containers such as the packaging they come in. This preserves their freshness and flavour.

Do you sell your teas in loose leaf form?

Our teas are only available as tea bags, carefully packed to ensure the correct proportion of tea leaves, ingredients, and flavour in each brew.

But unlike many teabagged teas that use tea dust that tends to taste more bitter, rest assured that you’re still getting full-leaf teas, with ample space in the tea bag for them to unfurl and fully develop the best of their flavour!

Have you got any caffeine-free/ decaf teas?

All of our regular teas contain some amount of caffeine, but look out for our seasonal specials that may be caffeine-free!
